Registration
Please register early in order to benefit from reduced rates. The registration costs cover the entire program (access to scientific sessions, welcome reception, farewell reception, Wednesday excursion, banquet and the early career researcher forum). Lunch will be provided before the excursion on Wednesday. To guarantee a spot on the excursion and banquet, please register before 4 July.

Excursion
Participants can choose between two excursion types. An exploration of the National Capital’s natural beauty in nearby Gatineau Park (Option A), or a discovery of the National Art Gallery of Canada, home to one of the finest collections of indigenous and Canadian art in the world (Option B).
The Gatineau Park excursion will be visiting the Mackenzie King estate and short hikes to nearby vistas from King mountain onto the Ottawa Valley. Both options A and B terminate with a boat cruise on the Ottawa River with direct view to fireworks.
Option A

Entertainment will be provided by flamenco guitarist Tony Komery, reflecting the multiculturalism in Canada.

Banquet
The banquet will be held at the Canadian Museum of History. The banquet is included in the conference registration fees. Attendees are welcome to first visit the museum starting at 5 pm. There will be a cocktail reception at 7 pm, followed by a seated dinner in the Grand Hall of the museum. During the dinner, an Indigenous performance involving music, dancing and storytelling will be presented, followed by the awards ceremony. Transportation to and from the banquet venue will be provided.

Early Career Researcher night
The Early Career Researcher Night will take place on Monday, 28 July at 6:30 pm. Join us at the Maclarens pool hall, which is 20 minute walking distance from the conference venue. The address is 301 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 2N9.
